HEALTH SCIENCES LIBRARY

The Health Sciences Library offers a number of individual and group study options, including 10 reservables spaces on the second floor. White board markers are provided upon request at the Information Desk. Valid Husky Card required to access building.

LI LU LIBRARY

The Li Lu Library is an open concept space, flooded with natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows with six zoned areas including group and quiet study areas. Valid Husky Card required to access building.

No reservations required.

MEETING & EVENT SPACES

The Health Sciences Library offers a variety of spaces suited for space, medium, and large events by groups across the health sciences. These spaces are not intended for use as classrooms. Reservations are restricted to the UW community and require a UW budget number. Exceptions require approval from the UW Libraries' Associate Dean for Health Sciences.

PACIFIC ROOM

The Pacific Room is used primarily for education and research support, including meetings, workshops, and smaller conferences. Contact hslrooms@uw.edu with any questions.

Reserve the Pacific Room

  • Location: Health Sciences Library, Lower level, Room T229
  • Capacity: 48 seated, 78 standing
  • Cost: $45 per hour or $350 per day (+ $100 fee if reserved outside 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m, Monday through Friday).
  • Equipment: Dell workstation, 84" LCD TV, 40" LCD TV, video cameras, microphones

Room T216 offers a configurable, six-screen data wall and multiple seating configurations, including a campfire-style couch. Contact hslrooms@uw.edu with any questions.

  • Location: Health Sciences Library, Lower level
  • Capacity: 15 seated, 30 standing
  • Cost: $22.50 per hour or $180 per day (+ $100 fee if reserved outside 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m, Monday through Friday).
  • Equipment: Six-screen data wall, integrated workstation w/ optional BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) support

Room T223 is a smaller space intended for small or medium meetings and presentations and includes video conferencing support. Contact hslrooms@uw.edu with any questions.

EXAMS & CLASSROOMS

The Commons Computer Lab is available for use by health sciences departments and schools for computer-based testing and classes.

COMMONS COMPUTER LAB

The Commons Computer Lab is comprised of three classrooms, the Library Teaching Lab, and an open area, each with student PCs generously funded by the Student Technology Fee. Contact hsllabs@uw.edu with any questions.
