UW Health Sciences Library Staff Statement of Solidarity with Ukraine

The University of Washington Health Science Library (UW HSL) stands in support with the President’s Ana Mari Cauce’s Ukraine solidarity statement, with the Ukrainian Library Association, and the people of Ukraine. UW HSL condemns Russia’s unprovoked attack which has been condemned by leaders around the world. UW HSL is proud of the UW Medicine psychologists who are in Europe providing essential support to Ukrainian refugees.

Although we may be limited by how we can impact the events in Europe, we can stay self-informed of the issues, avoid sharing misinformation, and show our support for democratic values and human rights.

The UW Combined Fund Drive has identified charities supporting the Ukrainian people.
